Beginner Matwork Classes - 8 classes

The Beginner Matwork class is designed to be an educational experience, for healthy students unfamiliar with the Pilates system. Learn how to use the body correctly, and move more efficiently. Say good-bye to your slump, and hello to your tall. (Many clients see a change in height from practicing the Pilates principles.)

Learn the basic 20-22 Mat exercises with adjustments so you can work at your own pace. Challenge yourself as you gain more strength and a better understanding of how your body moves.

By the end of the session you will be prepared to move into a basic/intermediate level class, and safely continue practicing what you've learned at home.

Topics covered during the 4 week Beginner Matwork Class includes;

  • breathing techniques;
  • posture improvement;
  • whole-body awareness;
  • how to find & use your abdominal muscles more effectively;
